About the Hotel

Take the finest British aristocratic guest house and transplant it to the heart of Europe and you have Bohemia Plaza: an up-market, all-suite, continental inner-city version of the very best British bed and breakfast tradition.

It doesn't look like a hotel on outside, and nor does it on the inside. The 'lived-in' interior is an unexpected combination of antique and modern. The Empire-style building had long ago undergone a disastrous conversion into offices. In 2002 a fifty-strong team set to work, stripping and virtually reconstructing the entire property. And thus in just ten months it was brought back to its former domestic grandeur, and in fine style.

Bohemia Plaza completed renovation in September 2002. Main entrance wall painting was carefully preserved and restored by a team from National Gallery, while decoration and antiques were found at auctions and antique fairs all over Europe.

We take pride in not having 'check out time'. Our Guests have the privilege to retain their apartment until the very departure. This rule can be limited during the season and is only available for guests who book directly via the hotel website.

One child up to 2 years of age may stay with guests free of charge, while babysitting may be arranged. Extra guests may stay in the room for an additional charge of 30 Eur per night when the number of guests does not exceed the number of beds.

Some pets may be allowed in the premises by prior agreement with the management.

A basket full of fresh delicatessen is prepared for guests who cannot bear to leave their bedroom.

Sala Borghese is a private dinning area at the two-century old stone cellar, where romantic dinner or private party is served by prior arrangement.

Actors, designers and politicians are our regular guests; we hope that you will equally appreciate privacy and guaranteed confidentiality that we offer you in Bohemia Plaza.

By the time you leave, we will have fully understood your requirements and will be prepared to serve you again; you will also have a 10 per cent discount on your entire bill next time you visit us.

Long stays are subject to special weekly, monthly and Club rates.

A traditional Bohemian breakfast – just a wurst, local cheeses, toasts is the normal fare for a Bohemian breakfast, but we decided to do our breakfast as a little attraction or presentation of local specailities and products.
Most of the products are really Bohemian and we produce or carefully select them from our local suppliers. Of course, orange juice is not local, so use your chance to try our own organic apple juice.
Delicatessen corner widely presents Prague ham, paprika sausages, bohemian salami or liver pate, while cheese selection includes Edam, Camambert, Savoyen and something “stinky” for gourmets.
Broth, oatmeal, boiled eggs or sausages also good start of a day, especially after yesteday’s beer party or some vegetables or fruits or salad can also refresh yourself.
Farmer's joghurt, cereals, house jam and organic honey are waiting for kids and "helthy diet" guests.
And finally traditional pastries with Italaian filered coffee or strong black/green tea will fill your upcoming day with an energy.
Nevermind that breakfast time is from 8 to 10 AM – if you wish to have it earlier, just let us know in advance and we will prepare for you something small with a coffee in the lobby.
If you could not find something in our standard continental breakfast serving, please, ask for A la cart menu and we will gladly serve you English breakfast with becon, fried eggs etc. or Champagne & Caviar romantic breakfast.
